Cristian Delgado –President

Year: Senior

Major(s): Public Relations

Minor(s): Consumer Economics

Internship/On-Campus Experience: Cristian is currently a Marketing Intern at Skip Barber Racing School, a Grady College Ambassador, and a member of our UGA Redcoat Marching Band.

Post-Graduation Plans: After graduation, Cristian hopes to work within Corporate public relations in the Automotive or Consumer Electronics Industry.


Ana Echols – Secretary

Year: Senior

Major(s): Public Relations and Consumer Journalism

Internship/On-Campus Experience: Ana has had various different internship experiences. In the past, she has been a sales intern at Epting Events, media intern at Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School and a promotion intern at Koncept Design Studio.

Post-Graduation Plans: Ana hopes to work in a Public Relations agency hopefully in a foreign country after graduating.


Emily Mitchem – Vice President of Programs

Year: Sophomore

Major(s): Public Relations (Intended)

Minor(s): Italian, Sports Media and Relation Certificate (Intended)

Internship/On-Campus Experience: In addition to her involvement with the IABC, Emily is Director of Broadcasting for UGA Rugby, a member of the Sports Communications Dept. within UGA’s swim team, Website Coordinator for her sorority, and is starting her second year in the CCMP.

Post-Graduation Plans: After graduation, Emily hopes to work in sports media, relations, or correspondence abroad or within the U.S.



Emily Dardaman – Vice President of Communications

Year: Sophomore

Major(s): Public Relations (Intended)

Minor(s): Spanish, New Media Certificate

Internship/On-Campus Experience: In addition to IABC, Emily is interning with Leader Agency and was also a marketing intern with the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 2013. Also, during 2013, Emily was a staff writer/ photographer for Ampersand Magazine and section editor for from 2012 to present.

Post-Graduation Plans: After graduation, Emily hopes to work within an agency or do in-house work in the PR field.



Reginald Askew – Vice President of Membership

Year: Junior

Major(s): Public Relations & Theatre

Internship/On-Campus Experience: Reginald has partaken in internship opportunities with both MARTA as an MTI Intern and COMTO CITY (Careers in Transportation Youth). He served as IABC’s Treasurer during 2013-14 and is a member of NSCS, NABJ, and PRSSA on campus.

Post-Graduation Plans: If Reginald is not acting or directing after graduation, he hopes to work in Public Relations for an agency in order to get some diverse experience right out of college. Ideally, he’d prefer to do in-house PR for entertainment companies.


Madison Bloodworth – Webmaster

Year: Senior

Major(s): Advertising

Minor(s): Spanish, New Media Certificate

Internship/On-Campus Experience: Madison has interned for UGA’s New Media Institute helping to work on a branding campaign for the Jeannette Rankin Foundation. On campus she has been involved with Ad Club and Di Gamma Kappa. During the summer of 2014, Madison studied Spanish at the Universidad de Sevilla through the UGA en España program. In addition, she is currently a Teacher’s Assistant for the New Media Institute.

Post-Graduation Plans: After graduation, Madison hopes to work for the creative side of the Advertising industry within an agency in London.



Jake Adair – Treasurer 

Year: Junior

Major (s): Finance

Certificate: Business Professionalism Certificate

Internship/ On-Campus Experience: In addition to IABC, Jake has been involved with Banking and Finance society on campus and the Society of Entrepreneurs. He also studied abroad with UGA at Oxford.

Post- Graduation Plans: After graduating, Jake hopes to work in investment banking and later advance to managing private equity.


Victoria Cooper – Chapter Advisor

Victoria Cooper is the Public Relations Advisor at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. This will be her first year as chapter advisor to the IABC/UGA chapter.

“As the advisor for the IABC UGA student chapter, I feel it is my job to ensure that every member gets the most out of this experience. My role is different with every member.
