Welcome to IABC @ UGA

IABC @ UGA is a student chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. We are affiliated with the IABC/Atlanta professional chapter. Our focus is to connect students at UGA with professionals working in fields relating to business communications. Students of all majors are welcome to attend meetings, become members, and will undoubtedly benefit from involvement with our chapter.

IABC needs you for 2013-2014!

IABC is looking for a few good students to join their elite ranks!

This is UGA’s premiere primarily online student organization!

This year’s focus is:

Developing Professional Communications in the Digital Workspace.

With IABC, you don’t have to worry about fitting more meetings into your already jam packed schedule!

Instead, you can focus on exploring trends and project collaboration opportunities online and add to your digital portfolio.

While there will be some in-person meetings and mixers for you to showcase your work, meet with professionals in the field and on-campus, and meet with professional chapter members from Atlanta, IABC will be a primarily digital group!

All majors are welcome to join!

The first mixer meeting will be in early September, but feel free to contact me now for more information! There are still a few opening on the executive board committee if you really want to make a difference!

How can you say no?

Contact Victoria Cooper, Chapter Advisor for more information!
